From country pubs and beachside cafes to waterside restaurants with spectacular views; Cornwall is packed full of fantastic eateries to try during your stay. Here are just a few of our favourites.
The Royal Oak
Within walking distance of the cottage, The Royal Oak offers fresh home-cooked meals and a great selection of drinks – definitely one to try during your stay.
We recommend booking, as evenings can be busy. A free car park is available for those wishing to drive.
The Cove
Nestled on the shoreline of Maenporth Beach, the Cove offers uninterrupted views across Falmouth Bay. Now run by acclaimed Michelin-star chef Michael Caines, menus range from informal foods to enjoy by the sea for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the full Michael Caines Signature dining experience.
A free car park is available just below the restaurant.
The Pandora Inn
A multi-award winning pub, you’ll find stunning views, a warm welcome and some delicious food and drink waiting for you at The Pandora Inn. Set on the edge of a creek, choose to take a seat out on the pontoon or head inside to enjoy the fires and candle light.
A free car park is available, however it can get very busy so arriving early is advisable.
Bon Appetit
A lovely little alfresco cafe based on the coast to coast Bissoe bike trail in Twelveheads, Bon Appetit is a great place to enjoy a bite to eat at the start, middle or end of a walk or bike ride.
Whilst there’s no official parking outside the café, there is a layby just down the road which is free.
INDIdog
Offering great views over the water, INDIdog sits on the grade 2 listed harbour wall in Falmouth, overlooking the River Fal. Featuring day boat fish, shellfish and local farm meat the menu is boutique and carefully crafted so that everything is cooked fresh to order.
There is a paid car park just outside.
Mylor Café
Situated on the edge of Mylor Harbour, this friendly café offers barista coffee, freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. We recommend taking a walk along the beach, (and for those looking to stretch their legs a little more, across the fields towards Flushing) before tucking into a delicious lunch.
There is paid parking available at the harbour, however it can get busy during the summer.
Hubbox
Located on Discovery Quay, Hubbox serves up award-winning burgers, as well as breakfast and late-night drinks.
There is a paid car park just outside Discovery Quay.
