During late April and May beautiful displays of bluebells appear in many stunning locations across Cornwall.

If you’re looking forward to enjoying a stay at Cart Shed Cottage during this time, don’t miss the chance to see one of these spectacular sights for yourselves.

Here are just a few of our favourite places to visit:

Enys Gardens

Well known for its beautiful carpet of bluebells found between the trees, Enys is open to visitors between 29th April – 8th May and is at the top of our list when it comes to enjoying this spectacular display of wildflowers.

Tehidy Country Park

As the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall, there’s certainly plenty of space to explore at Tehidy. Head over there during May and you’ll find yourselves surrounded by a beautiful sea of blue. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a coffee and snack at the café too – found next to the main entrance, there’s a great selection of food and drink to choose from.

Trewithen Estate

One of Cornwall’s largest privately owned estates, wandering around the beautiful grounds and peaceful woodland you’ll find great swathes of blue amongst the trees. Don’t miss the fantastic Magnolias here too, which include the UK’s finest specimen in cultivation of Magnolia campbellii subsp. Mollicomata which stands at over 65 ft high!
